Carrycot?

Pushchairs typically come with two pieces; a carrycot and a seat unit. 

The carrycot is the pram section that baby lays in when they go out, until they are around 6 months old. The seat unit is the section that will take your little one from baby until they are around 4 years old (the weight is typical up to 21kg)

Some pushchairs dont come with Carrycots. In this case the seat unit is used from the beginning and is safe to do so. Not all seat units have this ability as they are too deep for a small baby.
